World Book Day: Storytelling and crafts
Pop into the Coach House this World Book Day for a relaxed, fun-filled celebration of stories and creativity.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Join us for cosy storytelling sessions featuring some much-loved children’s books, specially suited for little ones aged 2–5. Storytime will take place at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. There’s no need to book, just drop in and enjoy.
We’d love to see children (and grown-ups!) dressed as their favourite book characters to add an extra splash of imagination to the day.
Alongside storytelling, there will be simple crafts for little hands, making this a perfect event for families with young children and anyone who loves books and creative play.
Participation is free, and garden admission does not apply for this event.
If you’d like to explore the gardens and woodland play area, tickets can be purchased from the ticket office on the day (under 5's are free).
