Guided Dawn Chorus Walks

Join our resident bird experts on a mindful walk through the woods at Nostell to experience the incredible dawn chorus.

  • Booking essential

Early birds and nature lovers, set your alarm and head to Nostell to fully immerse yourself in and incredible guided dawn chorus walk.

Our guides will lead you on a walk and help you to get the best from this aural spectacle. They are on hand to identify the songs of resident birds such as the Nuthatch, Blackbird, Song Thrush, and Robin.

It’s a special time of day to be in the parklands and gardens, alongside all the incredible creatures that call Nostell home.

The carefully chosen walk route takes you through ancient woodland and down to the lake where you’ll be invited to be completely still so you can fully experience the magic of this morning symphony. As the sun comes up, over the lake, spend a while watching the swans and see if you can spot the herons, in search of their breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast, we expect you’ll be ready for a hot sandwich and warm drink at the end of the walk and these are included in the ticket price.
