Grasslands - inspired by THE HERDS
Be part of creating a kaleidoscope of butterflies for our brand new summer art installation. Inspired by THE HERDS project, and our nature conservation work.
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
As our 20-hectare grassland planting project begins, be part of creating a kaleidoscope of butterflies, which will be enjoyed by our visitors throughout the summer.
Inspired by The HERDS project, and our habitat restoration work, the butterflies will celebrate nature as well as sparking conversations about how to care for it.
Visitors aged 7+ can join a workshop with local artist Jo Veal on 27, 28, 29 or 30 May, and there will be themed activities throughout half term for all ages.
Workshop spaces are limited, booking opens on 1 May, with more details to follow soon.
These workshops will be delivered in partnership with Barnsley Museums and have been kindly supported by Art Fund.
