The Wellington Monument Team would like to thank...

Wellington Monument

Wellington Monument has stood at the heart of our community for generations.

The National Trust began caring for Wellington Monument in 1934. Since that time it has needed careful renovation every 10 to 15 years, an expensive and unsustainable process given its height.

Since launching our appeal we've had enormous support from donors and fundraisers in our community.

The National Trust would like to thank everyone who has supported the campaign so far, including the local community and the following donors:

The Chancellor and money granted through LIBOR funds

The Duke of Wellington

The Constance Travis Charitable Trust

Steve Edge

The GMC Trust

Mr John Maynard

The Peter Harrison Heritage Foundation

Nancy Powell-Brace

Waterloo 200
