Easter Holidays at Aberdulais

Spring time fun at Aberdulais

Hop over to solve Bunny's clues, or enjoy the nature and wildlife as Aberdulais awakens from her winter slumber.

Nine Carrot Gold!

Why not join us for Bunny's treasure hunt, over the Easter weekend (14-17 April)*

Can you find the 9 carrots to help Bunny make his own carrot cake? You'll have to hunt high and low, to find your way to the treasure.

Pick up a treasure map from reception and start exploring.

£2 per trail (Normal admission charges apply. Free to National Trust members)

Awakening Aberdulais

As nature starts to wake up, you'll notice the birds and bees start to return to Aberdulais. See what you can spot and pick up tips on how to make a home for a wild animal.
Look out for the Dippers and Grey Wagtails 'bobbing' in the river, (they're looking for insects to feed on) or spot the daffodils and snowdrops in bloom on site.
Stop by the 50 things table and pick up a bug hunting or bird watching sheet, and see what you can find as you explore.
Activities available daily throughout the Easter holidays (excluding 14-17 April)

*The useful bits...

We're expecting to be busy over the Easter weekend but don't worry, we've put together a few useful tips for you.

You'll find our car park opposite the property, but should you find the spaces are full, you can park on the roadside (waiting time of 3 hours).

We have a lovely little tea-room, full of history and character (the Old School House tea-room), serving hot and cold food, as well as cakes, snacks and drinks. The tea-room serves hot food between 12-3:30pm, but there's an array of sandwiches and pasty's served outside of these times. There's also take-away options if you wish to grab something and go.

You'll find a number of picnic benches if you wish to bring your own lunch, or why not bring a blanket and stretch out on the lawn.

You can pay for your hunt in the visitor centre on arrival, £2 per hunt, including a chocolate prize. (A non-confectionery prize will be avialble for those children who aren't able to have chocolate)

And finally....thank you...

By visiting us this half term, you're helping us to keep Aberdulais special for future generations.
