Winter Nights at Aberdulais
Before nestling down for winter, see the waterfall glow under lantern lit splendour and explore the night time antics of the tinworks.
Visit Aberdulais for this unique night time experience as theatrics, storytelling and costume bring your family first hand to the past. Wander around the remains of the industrial works, make some fun decorations to take home before cosying-on up in the tea-room with a hot drink and mince pie.
Night at the Tinworks
Tuesday 28 November & 5 December (5:30-8:00pm)
Led by flickering lanterns, tour our tinworks in its most enchanting setting. Fully illuminated, our waterfall reflects the hard-working days of industry at Aberdulais. Put your family at the heart of history in our night time theatrics.
Become part of our story, as we teach you the trade of the tinworks. See and hear first-hand what it's really like working on this bustling site and make sure you stop by the Victorian school for your lesson.
Enjoy strolls and stay warm in your winter woollies, and gear up for an outdoors adventure.
Tuesday 12 & 19 December (5:30-8:00pm)
Join us for stories told under candle light, snuggle up and nestle in for Mrs. Clause to lead you on your Christmas adventure.
Fun activities for all the family, make traditional Christmas decorations, experience the night time glow of the tinworks, and take your family on a festive adventure.
After a brisk walk around, why not warm up with a hot cocoa in our Old School House Tea-room, and indulgence yourself with a yuletide treat.
Winter at Aberdulais
Come visit us all through the season, on our winter weekends. We’re open Fridays to Sundays from 11 to 4. Merry Christmas, from Mrs Clause and all the elves at Aberdulais.
