Autumn events at Ashridge
There is so much to see and do at Ashridge this autumn that you'll be stuck for choice. We have lots of events for you to get involved in to see the spectacular Chilterns countryside as it changes colour over the coming weeks.
These events were in 2018 and have now finished. Check again in 2019 for updates.
Autumn fun at Ashridge
Whether you're joining us for one of our events this season or just going for a gentle walk through the estate, there is plenty to inspire and get the creative juices flowing.
Ashridge in autumn
On Sat 6 October from 10am-2pm, our knowledgeable volunteers are running a guided walk this autumn to show you the very best of the estate during this picturesque season. It's a great opportunity to take some photos of the trees in their autumn beauty.
The walk costs £8 for adults and £5 for children, so bring along the whole family for one of our most spectacular guided walks of the year.
Our famous deer rut walks
Every autumn we run a selection of walks to spot the rutting fallow deer. Our rangers know the best places to see them and will guide you round to give you the best chance of seeing them. Bring your camera and binoculars for the chance to take some stunning shots.
Walks take place over two weekends - Fri 19 to Sun 21 and Fri 26 to Sun 28 October from 7-9am. The price is £10 per adult and £5 per child.
Get creative with our watercolour workshops
There's a great opportunity to express your artistic side at Ashridge this autumn. Local artist Liz Rogers is running two watercolour workshops on Sun 28 and Tue 30 October from 1-4pm. She'll be taking your round the woods to sketch Ashridge's trees in their autumn splendour, before bringing you inside to add some colour.
We will be providing refreshements and all the materials you need. The workshop costs £30 per person.
