Bring the outside in
Our shop will also help you bring the outside in this summer, as the National Trust home and kitchen range takes its inspiration from wildlife-rich meadows in the care of the NT. There are stylish throws, cushions and ceramics adorned with beautiful grassland prints. Candles and diffusers with a fresh floral scent will also keep you feeling summery all season long.
Eating outdoors is one of the pleasures of summer, and an activity you and your family can enjoy on the Ashridge Estate. Our collection of artisan tableware, glasses, sustainable bamboo picnic accessories and picnic blankets will turn this simple pleasure into a stylish treat.
New to our Ashridge store this season is the Jack Wolfskin outdoor clothing range. This eco-friendly range of outdoor clothing is stylish, comfortable and practical. We stock fleeces, t-shirts and waterproof coats for men and women.

We love to support local businesses whenever we can here at Ashridge, and we have some exciting new local products this season. We’re pleased to stock new books by local authors; The Berko Loop is a book about the countryside around Berkhamsted, including walks, history and locals, The Bluebell Wood by Kelly Wright is a beautiful illustrated children’s story about a little girl’s adventures among the Ashridge Bluebells. The Butterfly Collection by Ashridge volunteer, butterfly expert and talented poet, Richard Harrington, contains a poem for every British butterfly. Many were inspired by his encounters on the Ashridge Estate.
We are also excited to be stocking hand-carved bowls, spoon and vases made by Jonah Maddox of Hertswood a local Berkhamsted maker. All the timber for these exquisite pieces is sourced from Ashridge’s timber yard. His work makes the perfect present and each beautiful handcrafted piece comes complete with an information card detailing the history of the tree from which it was made.
