October half term at Ashridge
There's a chill in the air this October half term at Ashridge as the ghosts of residents past return to the estate. Come along from Mon 21 Oct - Fri 1 Nov, 10am-4pm, for our trail and craft to join their dinner party in our spooky cabin in the woods.
There's ghosts from times gone by appearing on our Halloween trail, As you follow the panels through our woods, you'll be able to meet our former residents ranging from the Bronze age to the Brownlow family.
Deep within the woods, you'll reach our spooky cabin. Will you be brave enough to join the ghosts at their dinner party?
After your trail, come back to the visitor centre to make your own craft to truly get into the Haloween spirit.
Plan your visit
The trail and craft costs £3 per child and can be collected at the visitor centre.
Once you've finished, you can browse our shop for gifts, books, drinks and snacks or pick up a hot drink or meal at the Brownlow Cafe. We also have baby change and disabled facilities if you need them.
The trail is on a flat surfaced path which is suitable for pushchairs. There is one slope and some steps by the cabin. You're welcome to bring your dog along on a lead.
If you are a regular visitor to Ashridge you might want to consider taking out family membership with the National Trust, which lets you to enjoy family fun at other properties too. There are several different membership types so just ask at reception for more information.
