Tree-mendous Ashridge Photography Competition
Calling all photographers! The hunt is on for the next photo to be displayed in the visitor centre. As part of our 'Tree-mendous Ashridge' event we will be running a photography competition which focuses on your favourite trees across the estate.
During August we will be accepting submissions for the competition. Twenty submissions will be shortlisted, printed onto canvas and featured in our main showcase, taking place in the visitor centre Sept 30-Oct 1. Over this weekend visitors to the estate will be able to vote for their favourite shot.
The winning photo will be hung in the visitor centre following the competition and the photographer will receive a prize. Many visitors often inquire about the photo canvases featured in the visitor centre, so this is an excellent opportunity for a photographer looking to advertise their work.
A few rules and regulations…
-One submission per photographer
-Tree(s) pictured must be located on the estate
-Your submission must also include a nickname for the tree (and personal anecdote if you’d like)
-If your submission is shortlisted you will be required to complete and sign a terms and conditions model release form. If we do not receive your form we will regrettably not be able to display your photo as part of the competition (in accordance with National Trust policy).
How to enter
Your snapshot, along with your name and your tree’s nickname, can be submitted by tweeting @AshridgeNT or by posting on our Facebook wall (@AshridgeNT). Submissions can be accepted no later than August 31st so get snapping!
