Baddesley Clinton estate walk

Enjoy a gentle stroll around the estate of Baddesley Clinton, a secluded, intimate estate which was home to the Ferrers family for 500 years.

Start point

Car park, Baddesley Clinton, B93 0DQ. 139:SP199723

Step 1

From the top car park go through the gate and head across the field corner to the next gate.

Step 2

Walk across this large field, with views to Hay Wood ahead and Baddesley Clinton Church on the right.

Step 3

At the gate in the corner, turn right and go down the gravel track towards the church, turning left through a gate into a field.

Step 4

Follow the National Trust waymarkers towards the gate in the left-hand corner of the field.

Step 5

Go straight ahead, keeping the edge of the field on your left, cross over a small bridge to the next gate.

Step 6

Take the right-hand gate and follow the mown path on the left-hand side of the field.

Step 7

Turn left, go through the farm gate and follow the path with the edge of the field on your left until you reach a gate.

Step 8

Go through into the next field and follow the mown path straight down the centre until you reach a gate.

Step 9

Go through the gate and take the right-hand fork and follow the National Trust waymarkers until you reach the gate.

Step 10

Turn left after the gate, keeping the edge of the field on your left. Follow this path to find Baddesley’s bird screen, where you’ll be able to spot a variety of wildlife.

Step 11

When you’re ready, turn right out of the bird screen, back to the gate at step 10 and follow the mown path across the field towards the farm gate.

Step 12

Go through the gate and follow the path across the field and back onto the driveway leading into Baddesley.

Step 13

Turn right when you reach the driveway and follow it back to Baddesley’s car park and Visitor Reception.
