We could not keep our places special without the efforts and dedication of our volunteers.
It takes a lot of planning and hard work to keep Calstone and Cherhill Downs as beautiful as it is, as well as careful management of the environment through scrub clearance and conservation grazing.
If you are interested in helping to maintain this wonderful habitat so that it's flora and fauna can thrive and grow, I'd love to hear from you.
There are regular volunteering days every month throughout the year and work involves maintaining pathways, scrub clearance, monitoring wildlife and conservation of archaeological monuments. No skills are needed, just lots of energy and a love of the outdoors.
