Easter at Cotehele

Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Cotehele. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.
We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same. However, we ask that you support your local property and tickets must be booked in advance.
Easter adventures in nature
1 April - 18 April (whilst stock last), 10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm)
Adventure packs cost £3 each and are available from reception. Normal admission charges apply.
Pick up a trail pack containing your Cotehele map and pencil, then follow the trail around the garden for an Easter adventure in nature. Watch out for the trail boards and be inspired to take a closer look at the sights and sounds of spring. Each pack has a reward of a chocolate egg at the end (an alternative allergen free reward is available on request).
Assistance dogs only in the garden and orchards. Although we have designed the route to avoid steps, depending which way you decide to adventure around the garden there are some narrow places and areas with steps that are unsuitable for buggies.
Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling.
Go the Eggstra mile
2 April - 18 April (whilst stock last), 11am-4pm
Get your hearts pumping and your smiles beaming on a short trail though the estate. Starting from the quay, look out for trail boards as you follow the Morden stream and head towards Cotehele Mill. Those who successfully reach Cotehele Mill receive a certificate. The route is perfect for those who would like to walk a little further or have furry friends in tow.

Book your visit
You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, we ask all to pre-book their visit to the garden at Cotehele. Booking will provide access to the garden, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.
Tickets are released every Friday, so you won’t be able to book your Easter visit until Friday 26 March.
The outside area of Cotehele Mill will be open during the Easter holiday. As the space is small, we will be operating a one-in-one-out system to help with social distancing. We are unable to guarantee entry to Cotehele Mill on the day you visit, even if you have a pre-booked Cotehele garden ticket.

Visiting Cotehele: what you need to know
We've put together a handy guide about what to expect when you visit Cotehele. If you are visiting the garden and orchard, booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Bookings close at 3pm the day before. Tickets are released every Friday for the following week. You do not need to book to visit the quay or wider estate.
