Accessible parkland tour

Polaris at Dyrham Park

From May - Oct, you can hitch a ride with our rangers if you’d like to see the park, but would find it difficult on foot.

From May – October 2016, Dyrham Park offers 20 minute tours from out on to the estate via the Prospect Walk for visitors with difficulties walking.

These tours will start and end at Visitor Reception and take in the site of the Battle of Dyrham, the Topograph, Old Lodge and potentially the deer herd.

Run by volunteer park ranger guides, the tours will take place at various times throughout the week, including the weekend. They will not run every day but you can contact us in advance to confirm when they will be running.

The off road vehicle was funded by a grant designed to help visitors who would not otherwise be able to get out seeing the views, leading to an improved experience in the outdoors.  Donations welcome to contribute towards the running costs.

The tours are free of charge, although normal admission applies.
