Inspiring the nation

Cotswold Outdoor has been helping customers get outdoors for more than 40 years, offering expert advice and an unrivalled range of kit for all sorts of adventures. We share a love of nature and a passion for the great outdoors.

Since our partnership began in 2015, our friends at Cotswold Outdoor have helped us look after precious walking landscapes and trails, inspiring more people to get outside and enjoy them. They also provide a 15% discount to all of our supporters in store and online, to help provide you with the best kit to make the most of the great outdoors.

Helping us care for special places

Through our ongoing partnership, we’re working to inspire the nation to explore, discover and enjoy even more of Britain’s coast and countryside, whatever the weather. Cotswold Outdoor not only give us funding to us help care for walking trails so more people can access the countryside, a proportion of the discount they offer our members and supporters also goes back into vital conservation work. 

When you use your discount, up to 5% of the purchase price is returned to us to help look after the places you love to explore. In exceptional circumstances, up to 7% of the purchase price may be payable. We also get 50p for each person who identifies themselves as a National Trust supporter within 30 days of sign up to Cotswold Outdoor’s Explore More benefits scheme.

Cotswold Outdoor started life in 1974 as Cotswold Camping, selling a range of basic camping accessories from a small outbuilding in the Cotswolds. Forty years later, the company is an award-winning multi-channel retailer with stores throughout the UK.

Passion for the outdoors is at the heart of Cotswold Outdoor. From climbing the Old Man of Hoy to cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, Cotswold Outdoor staff are brought together by a love for anything and everything outdoors.
