Cycling holidays in the Lake District

The Lake District offers an abundance of excellent cycle routes, both on road and off road, from quiet country lanes to high mountain passes, from bridleways to purpose built mountain bike trails.

Bring your bikes and spend a cycling holiday in the Lakes. Our holiday cottages and campsites are close to or directly on beautiful cycle routes. We can however highly recommend our cottage or campsite at Langdale and our two cottages on the Sizergh Castle estate which are ideally suited for cycling enthusiasts.

We also offer bike hire from Low Wray Campsite on the quiet west shore of Windermere, with easy access to lakeshore routes and great mountain-biking opportunities linking Wray Castle and Claife Viewing Station - so plenty of cake and coffee stops along the way. If you're staying at Trees or Summer House, Low Wray bike hire is just a stone's throw away.
