Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about Gupton Farm campsite.

Where is the nearest food shop? 

Pembroke has larger food shops including a Tesco and a Co-op, about 6.5miles from the campsite. 

Where is the nearest pub/restaurant?

From April to September Cafe Môr is a popular beach shack located in the beach car park serving street food. There are several pubs, restaurants and cafes along the coast in Angle, Milford Haven and Pembroke.

Where is the nearest bank and cash point?

The closest banks (Barclays and NatWest) are in Pembroke.

Do you take bookings?

Bookings are recommended to ensure you get a pitch. Bookings can be made online via our reservation system or call 01646 623110 or email

Do you accept dogs?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome at the campsite. Please note that restrictions are in place on the permissive paths to minimise disturbance to the wildlife. Dogs are also welcome on Freshwater West beach and bridleway. Max 2 per pitch, charges apply.

Can I park my car by my tent?

Parking is not allowed on the camping field; however the free car park is close by. There are wheel barrows available to assist your loading and unloading. 

Do you hire freeze packs?

Yes, in the barn

Where are some good walks for families?

The farm is located close to the coast path and there are plenty of local walks. You can search for nearby walking trails on the website.

Where is the nearest town or village?

The closest village to the farm is Castlemartin but it has no amenities, for further amenities head to the town of Pembroke.

Do you accept trailer tents/caravans/campervans?

Due to the limited number of pitches and the size of the access route we can only allow campervans on site.

What places are there to visit nearby?

Stackpole, Stackpole Outdoor learning centre, Cleddau Woodlands, Pembroke Castle, Tudor Merchants House. 

Do you take credit card payments?

Yes we accept most credit and debit cards. Credit cards incur a 1.5% surcharge.  

Are you open all year round?

The campsite is open from May  until late September 9Gupton farmhouse is open all year round. 

Can I have a fire or barbecue?

Due to the natural surroundings of the site we can only permit BBQs and campfires in our designated area.

Can under 18s stay at the site?

Under 18s must be accompanied by an responsible adult. Bookings can only be taken from those over the age of 18.
