Spring flowers and garden events

See carpets of bluebells, tulips and trees covered in blossom as spring takes hold in our gardens. Our gardeners and garden volunteers work year round, planting and tending to plants that now burst into bloom after the winter. Celebrate the arrival of the new season with a visit to one of our gardens or at one of our garden events.

Soak up the scents, colours, shapes and textures as our gardeners take you on a guided tour through the season’s highlights. Admire displays of daffodils, snowdrops and bluebells as well as magnolias and camellias. Some of our places are also running special garden tours as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

Learn some new tips from our experts at practical workshops on vegetable growing, flower arranging, garden pests, spring planting and outdoor photography. Inspire children about the joys of gardening with seed planting activities – one of our 50 Things to do before you’re 11 ¾.

Your spring day out will also help us to carry on looking after gardens and green spaces for everyone to enjoy. Stop for a spot of refreshment in one of our tea-rooms or cafés, as every purchase also helps our work caring for special places.
