Wasdale Campsite campervans and motorhomes

The route to Wasdale is very narrow (single track in many places) and frankly quite tortuous but the reward at the end of the journey will not disappoint. Please be aware that due to the size and nature of our pitches and the difficult approach to the campsite which takes you over a narrow bridge, it is difficult for us to accept campervans over 6.5m in length.

We offer hardstanding pitches with electric hook up at the periphery of the campsite adjacent to the pay and display car park. Currently most campervan pitches lie under a canopy of trees.

We also offer an elsan facility for toilet cartridges, situated at the facility block (no vehicular access). So once you are here - relax and enjoy this amazing setting from the comfort of your own RV.

Not planning to stay at the campsite?

Wasdale is a very special and precious environment so the only place to stay in Wasdale in your campervan or motorhome is on the campsite. Please read the Lake District National Park information about campervan parking in the area.

There is a 3 night minimum stay on Bank Holidays and a 2 night minimum stay for all advanced bookings. Child prices apply to children aged 5-17 years old. There is no charge for children aged 4 and under.
