Learning at Florence Court

Children play with traditional Victorian games at Florence Court National Trust

Florence Court is a centre of excellence for the delivery of innovative education programmes.

We offer a variety of interactive learning opportunities linked to Foundation Year, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, which are closely related to the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland curriculum.

Foundation years

Follow the trail of Trusty the hedgehog around the gardens to learn about nature and the five senses. Duration 2 hours.

Key Stages 1 and 2

We have four interactive learning programmes available for Key Stage 1 pupils throughout the school year. Take your pick from one of our five programmes designed for Key Stage 2 pupils, or why not come back over the course of the year as the seasons change?

Education group membership

Education group members are entitled to a discount of £2 per pupil on all education programmes - cost per child to attend education programme is usually £5. Membership is designed to enable low-cost access to National Trust places for schools and teachers can apply for Education Group Membership at the time of their visit.
