Summer at Florence Court
Florence Court has a host of activities to keep everyone busy over the summer months, from tours by the housemaid to bike hire, Kitchen Garden activities and pond-dipping kits.
Hidden Graces of Florence Court
2018 marks 100 years since some women were granted the right to vote in the UK. We're marking this special anniversary at Florence Court by exploring the stories of the women who helped shape Florence Court house and estate.
Over the summer, the stories of all these remarkable women, and the lasting marks they left on Florence Court will be uncovered in our ‘Hidden Graces’ tour. Please check our mansion opening times before visiting. No booking beforehand is required.
Our children's tour runs at 1.45pm on weekdays in July and August and is a shorter tour aimed at younger children. See the house with the Tutor or Governess and hear about what life was like for the children who grew up at Florence Court.
All tours can be booked at the Visitor Centre.
Explore more with a Ranger
Join one of our friendly Rangers every Wednesday at 2pm for a guided tour through the estate to learn about Florence Court from past to present and how they manage the estate for all to enjoy. Please register at the Visitor Centre.
Borrow a tracker pack from the Visitor Centre to really make the most of being out on the estate. The packs are full of info and games to keep little ones (and big ones) busy on a day out on the trails.
Borrow one of our pond dipping sets from the Coach House Gift Shop to start ticking off your 50 Things to do before you're 11 3/4! Pick up your nets and specimen jars as well as children's wellington boots.
Don't forget you can also work on your 50 Things at plenty of places across the estate and pick up your stickers at the Shop or Visitor Centre, so what are you waiting for?! Go out and enjoy our special places this summer.
