View of the hands of a wedding couple showing her wedding ring

Greyfriars House and Garden is a black and white timber framed 15th-century merchants house in the heart of Worcester. The oak-panelled hall provides an intimate venue for your ceremony and guests can enjoy celebratory drinks in the walled garden, with the charming timber-framed house and garden providing a backdrop for special photos. Offered to you for exclusive use, Greyfriars provides an opportunity to marry in the heart of Worcester.

Planning your day

We host a number of weddings each year - each one tailored to the couple's specific requirements. Greyfriars can be yours for a two-hour period and the hall accommodates 45 seated guests. The package includes:

  • Wedding ceremony space in the Hall (registrars booked separately with the council)
  • Drinks reception in the garden in good weather or indoors in the colder months
  • Photographs in the hall or garden

In 2016 Greyfriars House and Garden is open to visitors between 11am and 5pm in peak season and 11am to 3.30pm in the Winter months. Wedding availability is outside of these times on either on Sundays and Mondays or in the evenings on days when we are normally open for an early evening ceremony.
