Blooming wisteria at Greys Court
The wisteria growing in the walled garden at Greys Court is a wonderful sight at any time of year, and it is a spectacular sight in bloom in the late spring. The wisteria room in the walled garden becomes completely covered in blue flowers and green leaves, and its a wonder to walk through the gnarled branches of the plant.
The sight and scent of the wisteria is a big draw for so many visitors to Greys Court, everyone hoping to see it at its best. We expect the wisteria will flower at some point throughout May. Although it’s hard to say when exactly, for more accurate updates, keep an eye on our social media accounts, where we will be posting regular updates.
The Wisteria Room
The ‘wisteria room’ in the walled garden is quite a small space to navigate. At present there is a one way system through the walled gardens and the wisteria. Please follow government guidelines on your visit and keep a safe distance from other visitors.
Please make sure not to touch to wisteria, but instead take in the beauty of the wisteria as you walk through the room. Please be aware of where you are walking to help protect and preserve this incredible plant.
