Visiting Greys Court during the Easter weekend
Greys Court in the spring is a wonderful sight, doubly so at Easter. The spring bulbs are blooming, red kites soaring up above, and there’s two Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts to keep all the family busy from 6 - 23 April. Easter weekend can be busy at Greys Court, so here’s a few helpful tips to help you plan ahead for a wonderful family day out.
Get ahead of the crowds. If you can, plan to arrive at Greys Court early. Our busiest time is between 11.30pm and 2pm, so you can beat the rush and get here when we open at 10am, or call by later in the afternoon when we're quieter.
Take your time. There's lots to explore in the estate. This year we're running two different Cadbury Easter egg hunts over the holidays, one for younger ones and the other for older children, so you can enjoy Easter celebrations without the rush of Easter weekend. The house is also celebrating Easter, there’ll be blooms in abundance in the walled gardens, and don’t forget the children’s play area near the Cowshed Tea-room.
Be aware of limited parking facilities. We’ve got limited car parking spaces for our visitors at Greys Court. Our overflow car park is also weather dependent, as it is not hard standing. If we get very busy and the car park becomes full, we may have to take the difficult decision to close Greys Court to further visitors until car parking spaces become available. The safety and well-being of our visitors is our top priority.
