Visiting Greys Court with your dog

Visitors dog-walking at Ickworth, Suffolk

Bringing your dog to Greys Court? We've put together some information to help you plan your visit.

Where can my dog go?

We welcome dogs on leads on the estate walks at Greys Court. Please note Greys Court is a working farm with livestock in the fields, so dogs need to be on leads at all times.

Well behaved dogs are allowed inside the shop. Outside seating is available at the Cowshed tearoom.

Where can't my dog go?

To help us protect the plants inside, only assistance dogs are permitted inside the walled gardens. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside the tearoom.

What do I need to be aware of?

To make sure everyone has an enjoyable day, please follow our canine code:

  • Take the lead: help reduce the chance of your pup disturbing wildlife by keeping them on a lead.
  • Scoop that poop: bag it and bin it to keep your favourite places beautiful.
  • Paws for thought: look out for information signs.
  • Be on the ball: not everyone loves dogs, so keep them close by.

Facilities available for my dog

In the shop you will find a selection of dog treats, toys and accesories. There is a dog bin near Visitor Reception.
