With buttery stone coloured cottages in some of the most iconic Cotswold villages, a stay in Gloucestershire is the perfect base for exploring stunning countryside and woodland. Some cottages are on the edge of estates like Sherbourne or Lodge Park, or you can stay in villages like Snowshill or Bibury, where famous names such as Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Cirencester are never too far away.

Surrounded by leafy woodland, this stone cottage is only half a mile from the centre of Sheepcombe village with its popular pub. With a sunny garden as well, you'll love the feeling of isolation and opportunities for wildlife watching.
