High on the cliffs above Port Quin, it’s no wonder why Doyden Castle is our most popular holiday cottage. With sea views from every room, this gothic-style fortress is one-of-a-kind.
An unusual history
Doyden Castle was built around 1830 as a party house by wealthy businessman Samuel Symons. Samuel would host his friends for nights of feasting, drinking and gambling.
A special stay
These days, Doyden is a luxurious one-bedroom holiday home. With gothic arched windows and wood panel interior, a holiday here is a special experience.
