About Conor

Sea views over Lundy Bay and Pentire Head from this ground floor apartment set away from the crowds.

Nothing will come between you and the panoramic sea views that surround this ground floor apartment. Like its former owner – prison guard Captain Herbert Latimer Conor who built Conor as his retirement home – you too can retreat here for a break of relaxation.

The early 20th-century building has a shared grass area where you can soak up the sun and gaze upon views of Lundy Bay and Pentire Head in the distance. And when Atlantic storms lash the coast, watch from the comfort of the living room window as the fire crackles.

Conor is ideally located on the South West Coast Path, where you can walk to Port Quin Bay in just a few minutes and quaint fishing village, Port Isaac, in under two hours. If you’re after a sandy beach, head to surfing hotspot, Polzeath, which is a 10 minute drive.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
