In the tiny hamlet of Gwendra, Gwendra Dairy Cottage offers open plan living and a short walk to the beach.
Tucked into the low cliffs of Gerrans Bay, just above a stretch of sandy beach is this one-bedroom coastal retreat. It’s one of five cottages, consisting of Mowhay, Hayloft, Granary and Gwendra Wartha, housed in a collection of restored slate and stone farm buildings that overlook the sea.
Step inside to a bright and airy space where light streams in from the open seascape. Gwendra Dairy Cottage has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and a hall which leads you out to a shared garden that peers over Carne and Pendower beaches.
Watch the waves from the living room or head down to the sands. From here you’ll be able to hop on to the South West Coast Path for walks along the Roseland Peninsula. Head east to the pretty village of Veryan, with its thatched round houses, pubs and shops. Or hike west along the coast to Portscatho and St Mawes.
Hall, open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, double bedroom (with 6' bed which can also be a twin on request), shower room
