Tucked away in a wooded clearing on the Trengwainton estate, with its own shrub-filled garden is this pretty stone cottage. Its unusual shape, with tall windows and high ceilings on the second floor provide an atmospheric living space inside, where light streams in from the four large windows.

Stroll around the exotic trees and shrubs of the Trengwainton garden. Winding wooded paths follow a half-mile incline to sea views across Mount's Bay, and the descent via the drive is bordered by a stream garden and open meadows.

Elsewhere, the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole is a 15-minute drive to the south. The stunning Cape Cornwall is less than 10 miles from the cottage. The spectacular hump-backed cape boasts a 138-year-old mine chimney stack and miles of walking routes.
