About Gwendra Granary

Tucked into the low cliffs, just above the long sandy beaches of Carne and Pendower, is this converted farm building. Inside hosts a bright interior and unparalleled sea views. The cottage is surrounded by lawns and it's just a short walk from the gently sloping beach. Gwendra Granary, along with Mowhay, Hayloft, Gwendra Wartha and Dairy Cottage, are restored slate and stone holiday cottages that overlook the sea.

Take advantage of its setting in the sleepy farming hamlet of Gwendra and relish the laid-back lifestyle.  Disconnect your mobile and go hiking along the headlands or get lost in the calm of the Cornish countryside. You could walk to Porthcurnick for a coffee pit-stop at its beach café or go even further to St Anthony Head.

Walks inland could lead you to the thatched village of Veryan where you’ll discover its distinctive round houses and classic pubs. Another must-see in this area is the gardens of Trelissick which can be driven to in 35 minutes.
