On the seafront at Cowes, this beautiful 19th century house is full of original features.
You can sit and watch the ships go by from the garden of this Victorian seafront house, or even get the whole family together for a beach holiday as it adjoins five-bedroom, Rosetta Cottage. Inside, it has all the charm of a 19th-century house with wooden floors, traditional fireplaces and a roll-top bath. There are sea views from many of the rooms.
An easy, ten-minute walk takes you into the vibrant town and marina which comes to life in the summer with sailing boats bobbing on the waters. There are lots of great places to people watch, and to eat and drink. Or venture further along the island to Newton Nature Reserve – a quiet backwater with a busy Medieval past, now bursting with wildlife.
