Cowes Week 2026 takes place from Saturday 1 August to Friday 7 August, marking the historic 200th anniversary of the world's longest-running sailing regatta, and it's not too late to grab a great place to stay.

On the seafront at Cowes, this beautiful 19th century house is full of original features.

Chert is in the quiet residential area of St Lawrence, high on a wooded cliff with a large balcony. In half an hour, you can walk to vibrant Ventnor, with its arts scene and independent cafés, bars and restaurants. Sleeps four. Next door, Little Chert is full of original retro features from the formica bathroom to the sleek wall bed. Sleeps two.

The Rosetta Cottages are neighbours (Rosetta and East Rosetta) in a converted Victorian manor on the seafront at Cowes. You can walk into town and to the marina, and watch passing ships and yachts from your garden.
Find a place to stay near a great surfing spot, or bring your bike and enjoy the island's cycle routes.
For a surfing trip minus the crowds, head to the southern fringes of this small island. You can drive from one end to the other in less than an hour to scout for the best breaks.

The Isle of Wight is a top cycling destination, for routes from the hilly, 65-mile 'Round the island cycle route' to trails perfect for beginners and families. All cottages have private gardens with space to padlock your bike, and some have bike sheds or storage. Leave the car and bring your bike on the hovercraft.
