About Manor Farmhouse

A gorgeous cosy Cotswold cottage with heaps of original features and walks from the door.

Stay in Manor Farmhouse, a quintessential Cotswold cottage with plenty of rustic charm. It’s a large five-bedroom house, but each room feels exceptionally cosy with its exposed beams and low ceilings. Once the home of a farm manager, the cottage retains much of its original character with antique furnishings and an open fire.

Pack your walking boots, as this is a real walker’s retreat. The cottage sits opposite Snowshill Manor and Garden where you can pick up walking information from the shop. Near by you can loop onto the Cotswold Way long distance footpath for walks into the wider countryside.

Further afield, visit Stratford upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and just 18 miles from the cottage. Bicester Village, famous for its designer shops is another fabulous place to visit and just 35 miles from Manor Farmhouse.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
