If you’re after a rural getaway with a glimpse of the sea, this characterful farmhouse could be your perfect stay. It nestles within working farmland overlooking the Pentire Headland and the north Cornwall coast.
Inside, you’ll find three bedrooms boasting views of the surrounding countryside, a sitting room with an open fire, a large kitchen area and a separate dining room.
From here, you’ll be able to stroll 10 minutes down the bridleway to the beach at Pentireglaze Haven, which at low tide links with the famous surfing beach of Polzeath with its coveted Blue Flag status.
In the cottage’s welcome rucksack, you’ll find lots of walking trails that will help you make the most of North Cornwall’s beautiful landscapes. Hike through carpets of wildflowers along the headland and take in the spectacular Pentire Point and Rumps, keeping your eyes peeled for grey seals and peregrine falcons which grace this stretch of coastline.
The Old Farmhouse can be opened up on the ground floor to join the attached cottage, Overhaven (sleeps six), for larger families or groups. The neighbouring cottages, Pentireglaze East Cottage (sleeps four) and Pentireglaze West Cottage (sleeps four), can also be booked for a group of up to 19 guests to stay across the four cottages.
