The 20 bed Wallington Bunkhouse is situated in the heart of the Wallington estate in beautiful Northumberland. This well-equipped, simple holiday property makes an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. Suitable for large family and friend groups, as well as special interest and educational visits, the bunkhouse is simple but just what you need for an outdoor holiday.
As a guest, you can enjoy free access to Wallington's mansion house, with its shops and café, woodland walks, enchanting walled garden and a cycle trail.
Kids will love the West Wood with its three play areas, while our family-friendly wildlife hide is the perfect place to sit in wait for wandering red squirrels.
Further afield, serious walkers wishing to explore the Cheviots and Hadrian's Wall territory are in an excellent place to discover these fascinating, historic walking routes.

Two bedrooms 1x dormitory sleeping 8 (in bunkbeds and ensuite communal shower room with 2x showers and 2x toilets) and 1x twin bedroom with bunkbed (access via the dormitory). A drying room and a shower room (with 2x showers and 2x toilets).
A large living/dining area, large fitted and equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, 1x dormitory sleeping 8 (in bunkbeds) and 1x twin (bunkbed).
Notes for guests
Heating: Biomass central heating provided.
Bedding/linen: Mattress protector only provided, guests need to bring all their own bedding.
Parking: There are two parking spaces immediately outside the bunkhouse and there are additional spaces in the main visitor car park approx. 400 yards away.
Garden: Unenclosed medium sized grassed area opposite the bunkhouse with a wooden picnic bench. Guests have access to all the outdoor areas including children's play areas and the walled garden on the estate until dusk.
Hazards: There are steps and steep stairs so the bunkhouse would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility, the bunkhouse is partially over the main visitor facilities so there may be some noise during daytime hours. There are several unfenced ponds in the nearby woodland.
