Shopping at Hughenden

From deliciously scented candles, pretty pottery and children’s toys to handmade chocolates and local honey, there's a great range of National Trust favourites and new inspiration to tempt you this season.

This winter, the shop collection explores objects and works of art at the National Trust's special places with patterns inspired by plants and flowers. Bring a little of the outdoors inside with vibrant colours and natural textures and materials.

This season's exclusive print is based on a harvest jug from A la Ronde in Devon made for Mary Parminter in 1829.

With gifts for gardeners, gourmets, exclusive experience days, or National Trust gift memberships to choose from, you’re sure to find that perfect something for that special someone, or simply a treat for yourself.

Disraeli and Hughenden

We have a range of merchandise on Queen Victoria's favourite Prime Minister and the house he loved, including the definitive biography, ‘The Two Lives’, signed by Douglas Hurd.

There are also special items linked to the secret mapping operation carried out at the Manor during the Second World War. From ‘Hits from the Blitz’, a CD of 40s music, to ‘Women of Intelligence’, a book celebrating the stories of the women who helped secure the Allied victory.

Local heroes

Our range of local produce includes Hive and Keeper Honey from Maidenhead, winner of a great taste award, and exclusively brewed for us by Chiltern Breweries is Disraeli Ale, one of the National Trust's top ten bestsellers.

Second-hand book shop

Our second-hand book shop is a great place to pick up a new read. You’ll find a variety of titles, from gardening and cooking to history and travel. Occasionally we get books autographed by the author, and we have a selection of vintage books and rare finds too.

We are happy to take donations of books, providing they are in good condition. If you have a large quantity of books to donate, please call the Hughenden office on 01494 755573 to arrange a drop off.

Every purchase you make in our shops goes back into looking after this special place for ever, for everyone.
