Ridlands Grove autumn walk
This walk takes you around Ridlands Grove with its spectacular autumn colours of the beech trees.
Please note Limpsfield is receiving high visitor numbers at the moment. This is creating a hot spot which could put both local residents and visitors at risk, and put local emergency services under pressure. Please park responsibly, and if the area is busy on your arrival please help us keep everyone safe by coming back another time.

Facing the information board in the car park at Ridlands Grove, turn right and walk 10m to a post showing an arrow. Take the path to the left, heading slightly down hill.
After around 50m, take the left-hand path.
After about 10m, take the next path going left. In this area the Limpsfield Task Force have carried out woodland management work to thin out some of the trees and encourage bluebells in spring.
Loop around in a clockwise direction. You’ll see a mixture of old beech trees, as well as younger oak trees. With views across the adjacent farmland, towards the North Downs and Westerham.
Continue keeping to the left-hand path (with fields to your left). The path carries on through a younger patch of woodland, with lots of regenerated young birch, around planted oak and beech trees.
After about 200m the path forks. Take the wider path to the right. You’ll then shortly see the car park where you started.
