Risemoor - Low Newton

It's just a one-minute stroll from bed to the beach
The double bedroom at Risemoor, Alnwick

A cottage in the dunes

Nestled in the dunes between Low Newton and Dustanburgh Castle it is one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in the country. The house itself is adjacent to the Newton Pool Nature Reserve so this is a perfect place for keen bird watchers and nature lovers; otters can occasionally be spotted here.

Cosy and comfy interiors

The house is a former pub and the furnishings are seaside-inspired; light and airy inside with cream walls, reclaimed and painted furniture, red, white and blue striped fabrics, pebble lamps, beach hut prints, birds and bunting. You even get to ring the old ship bell at dinner time. Dogs are welcome in Risemoor.

Secluded and relaxing garden

The garden at Risemoor is private and relaxing, perfect for sunbathing, birdwatching and eating outdoors.
