February half-term in Suffolk

There are lots of opportunities at National Trust places in Suffolk for kids to get messy, muddy and back in touch with nature this February half-term. Here are some of our favourite places to go for a wild family day out this half-term.

Young boy looking at bug

If you're planning to visit Flatford this half-term, call into our Visitor Centre to pick up a family activity pack to help you make the most of exploring the area. We're also organising a special nature day on 29 May with the RSPB and Field Studies Centre, where families can get their hands dirty discovering more about the wild side of Flatford.

Family jumping off a log

If your family loves the great outdoors, then why not enjoy our adventure playground, den building area or pick up a nature pack and head out to explore the park at Ickworth?

Child in Lavenham Guildhall

Lavenham Guildhall

Discover some of the intriguing stories from the characters connected with Lavenham Guildhall. There’s dressing up clothes to try on and a children’s trail to enjoy this half-term.

Sutton Hoo Boy and Helmet

Sutton Hoo

Explore Sutton Hoo through new eyes. The whole family can become archaeologists and pick up a Peggy Piggott Archaeology Pack or wrap up warm and visit us after hours and enjoy the Anglo-Saxon tradition of storytelling with Tales by Twilight.

Every muddy day out helps us care for special places for half-terms to come

Thanks to you, when you join, donate, visit or volunteer, your support helps us to look after special places for ever, for everyone.
