May half term in Cambridgeshire

We've got adventures for all the family, so head outdoors where the kids can get messy, muddy and back in touch with nature. Here are some of our favourite places to go for a wild family day out across Cambridgeshire.

Children playing at Hoe Fen, Anglesey Abbey

Anglesey Abbey

A great place for families to explore and play in the wild, Hoe Fen Wildlife Discovery Area at Anglesey Abbey is where you can rediscover 50 things to do before you’re 11¾, with ten brand new adventures to complete. Don't miss our new leaping logs.

Family pond-dipping

Wicken Fen

There's lots of different ways you and your family can explore Wicken Fen, whether it's on foot, by bike or boat. During half-term we'll have a different 50 Things activity every day, from bug hunting to den building. You can even try your hand at geocaching or stay the night at our back to basics campsite!

Children enjoying their visit to Wimpole Home Farm

Wimpole Estate

There's always something new to see and plenty of adventures to be had at Wimpole. Come and explore Home Farm and meet some of our latest arrivals, or join the wild welly walk and get closer to nature.

Fun in the spring time at Houghton Mill

Half term at Houghton Mill

Picnic, cycle or paddle around the mill, help us build a new bug hotel for our nature trail, splash around in the water meadows or try one of the new '50 things to do before you’re 11¾'. There’s lots to discover at Houghton Mill this half term, whatever the weather.
