Why not take friend on a nature adventure to Hoe Fen at Anglesey Abbey? The ideal place to meet up with friends for unlimited outdoor adventures, here you can spy on wildlife from the Wildlife Watch Hut, check on the guests in the Insect Hotel or climb to the top of our giant treehouse.

Houghton Mill is a favourite for families wanting to take some time out down by the river. For those wanting to explore, you can do so by foot, bike and canoe, it's a great spot for a picnic too. Inside the mill we’ll be running Crafty Tuesdays throughout the school holidays.

This summer during the school holidays at Peckover House we'll have a trail around the garden, as well as story time sessions for children. Look out for the discovery table, which will hold more creative activities.

We’ve a great summer programme lined up, including pond dipping and minibeast hunting. How about giving our geocaching trail a go? Wicken’s cycle hire will also be open, offering not just bikes, but seats and trailers for those with little legs. You can also tour the waterways on one of our daily boat trips.

There’s always something going on for families down at Wimpole Home Farm, come and meet out new arrivals. We'll even let your little ones get behind the wheel of our mini tractors. The woods are a great place for a spot of den building or head to the garden for a game of bowls on the lawn.
