Things to see and do at Little Moreton Hall
Little Moreton Hall may be small by name but not by nature. There's a lot going on here including guided and self-led tours and exhibitions.
The gardens that surround the hall
Based on a Tudor quatrefoil design, the box hedge of our knot garden takes our gardener 80 hours every year to clip by hand. Come and have a chat with our garden team to find out about the garden at Little Moreton Hall.
Why was the drain for the garderobe put on the front of the house? Why were clothes stored near it? Come and meet our Tudor gentlefolk and find out.
What is the Cupboard of Boxes? Join a free guided tour to hear all about the hall, the Moretons and what it was like to live in Tudor times. Tours run from February until November.
Have a go yourself
Most days you can have a go at something Tudor, whether it's indoor or outdoor games, quill pen writing, spinning, weaving or a craft activity you can take home.
