Check back on our website in Autumn 2024 for more details of our Christmas event. Join us for Christmas 2024 as we step back in time to celebrate traditions old and new. Different rooms in the hall will be decorated to transport you to Christmas past, from Tudor to present day, all within a few steps.

Take a look back at Christmas past

We're thrilled that Christmas is back at Little Moreton Hall this December, and we hope you can visit this festive season to make some lasting memories with family and friends.

Discover the hall as never before as you travel back to Christmases past, without the need for a time machine. You're warmly welcomed to suspend reality and step back in time on three weekends in December, from 11am – 4pm, with last entry to the hall at 3.30pm.

  • Check the main page for the December 2024 opening times

Visitors to the hall on weekends will not only be entertained by a jovial jester but will also be treated to the musical talents of either Merrie Noyse or Piva; groups of performers who bring the music of the past to life.

Leave the hustle and bustle behind and escape to the higgledy-piggledy, hearty hospitality of the hall. Wrap up warm, bring some festive cheer and create a new Christmas tradition here at Little Moreton Hall.

Take a walk in the grounds

No trip to Little Moreton Hall is complete without a gentle stroll around the moat path to reflect and recharge near the water. You can also pop into the Knot Garden to see the progress that the garden team are making here. Throw on your best bobble hat, woolly scarf and cosy jumper and enjoy a topsy-turvy slice of the past in and around this iconic Tudor manor house.

Time for treats: the bookshop and tea-room
