Please note: BBQs, fireworks and fires are banned on Marsden Moor all year round. Please help us look after this special place by leaving them at home during your visit.

An exhilarating circular walk, a large part of it on the Pennine Way, exploring the varied landscapes of Marsden Moor. 10 miles. Challenging.

Pule Hill walk

A circular walk that starts along the canal towpath before gently contouring around the sides of Pule Hill. 4.5 miles. Moderate.

A moderate walk that meanders up onto the moors with far reaching views following Deer Hill conduit. 4.5 miles. Moderate.

Health walks and Nordic walking

In conjunction with Kirklees Council, weekly health and Nordic walks start from the Information room in the Old Goods Yard. Fancy a gentle stroll in the countryside? Why not join a health walk for a two to four mile sociable stroll, suitable for all ages and abilities. Nordic walking is a great way of walking, with poles, which gives great all round exercise and reduces stress on joints. Give it a go!
