Murlough National Nature Reserve butterfly discover

Murlough is part of Chris Packham's "Nature Reserves are Not Enough" Bioblitz campaign. We're hosting a 24 hour Bioblitz starting at 6pm on Sunday 15 July. Join one of our walks and talks from the experts to learn more about the wildlife and landscape of the nature reserve.

All walks and talks leave from the Stable Yard at Keel Point.

Monday 16 July

  • 10am - 12pm - Shoreline Walk with Jo Whatmough

  • 11am - 12.30pm - Bug Hunt with Shelagh Henry
  • 11am - 1pm - Marine Mammal Watch with Andy Carden
  • 11.30am - 1pm - Quick Start Botany – books, places, hints and tips
  • 1pm - 3pm - Ramble with our 1st Warden Jo Whatmough
  • 2pm - 3.30pm - Bug Hunt with Ryan Mitchell & Shelagh Henry
  • 2pm - 4pm - Butterflies with Stephen Craig
  • 3pm - 5pm - Summer Nature Walk with David Thompson
  • 3pm - 5pm - Murlough’s birds with Dot Bleakley
