Eating and shopping at Packwood House

The exterior of the café at Packwood House, Warwickshire

You'll be sure to receive a very warm welcome on your visit to our Garden Kitchen Café and Sundials Shop.

A new build with echoes of the past

The new build has been designed to be a simple, contemporary barn-like building, inspired by the existing outbuildings. It is home to our visitor reception, shop and Garden Kitchen café and brings together Packwood's spirit of creativity and invention, as well as Mr Ash's good taste and eye for detail.
A new range of contemporary Delft tiles echoing those found in Baron Ash’s bathroom has been created in collaboration with Fired Earth. The walls feature images inspired by the gardens and the visitors' books signed by Mr Ash’s guests in the 1930s and 1940s.

Relax in the café

The café menu is inspired by Packwood’s kitchen garden, which is lovingly tended by kitchen gardener John and his team of volunteers.
The fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers grown in the kitchen garden feature on the menu, which includes delicious cakes, salads, sandwiches, ice creams and hot and cold drinks. There’s also a special menu for little ones and plenty of high chairs.

A choice of gifts

We now have a small shop as you enter Visitor Reception, why not spoil yourself or a friend, from our wonderful range of gifts.
The Sundials Gift Shop has been refurbished, and sells a lovely range of gifts, as well as icecream for sunny days.

Local produce

Our honey is made from bees working hard in the fields and gardens around Solihull Apiaries, which is based just down the road in Hockley Heath, near to both Packwood and Baddesley Clinton.
