Apple day - from palm to press

Apples

One of the first apple days of the season

A friendly, relaxed day for all the family - there's lots to do and enjoy.

Pick apples from the orchard and give them to the ponies with panniers.  The ponies will carry them down to the press where you can watch them being scratted and juiced - there'll be two pressings during the day. If you have any apples at home, you can bring them to juice too.

Take away your own juice by donation, or have free tastings on the day.

There will be 'apple' games and a quiz in the orchard; singers to entertain us all and Hunts Cider and the Dartmoor National Park Authority both have stands. Home Farm Café treats will be available from the café and the orchard.
