The Church House at Widecombe in the Moor

Located in the iconic Dartmoor village of Widecombe in the Moor, the Church House contains a gallery and shop in Sexton's Cottage and is open for markets and visits on selected dates, plus can be hired for events.
Sexton's Gallery
In the old Sexton's Cottage you can find a delightful gallery (not National Trust) showcasing the work of some talented artists and makers that live and work on Dartmoor. They also sell a range of beautiful gifts and home wares, books by local authors, baskets by local weavers and ceramics by local potters.

The Church House
Built around 1537 this grade 2 listed building is owned by the National Trust and leased to the village as a community hall.
Village markets
Local produce for sale, usually held on the fourth Saturday of the month, however this can change, so please check the website below for more information.
Artisan craft markets
A variety of hand-made craft, created by Devon crafters, and inspired by the landscape of Dartmoor National Park. These usually run every Thursday from April to October, check the website below for more information.
Hire the Church House
