The perfect knock on effect
The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust have a corral where their students put their pony handling skills to good use
Every now and again it needs to be freshened up so the ponies can relax, roll in it and generally enjoy it too.
Throughout the year, the ranger and his team of volunteers at Parke deal with damaged and windblown trees around the estate and recently have been clearing the 'lost' pond in the parkland. This all results in loads of wood chip being produced, which has now been put to good use to top up the corral.
